HR Administrator

We are looking for an Entry Level HR Administrator ready to launch their career in Human Resources and join our growing team! This individual will assist with implementing various HR functions, such as employee onboarding, administration of corporate benefits, administration of HRIS systems, facilitate employee engagement programs, and much more! Based out of our Plano, TX office, you will act as the main point of contact for employees’ queries on HR-related topics for this location. The goal is to ensure the HR department’s operations run smoothly and efficiently, providing maximum value to the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct employee onboarding
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as benefits, leaves of absence, and companywide HR updates
  • Promote HR programs and Company Core Values to create an efficient and thriving workplace
  • Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and/or paper form
  • Enhance job satisfaction by promoting new perks and benefits and organizing team-building activities
  • Must be able to communicate via phone, virtual video, instant message and email with employees and supervisors to discuss, collect proper documents, and provide prompt responses for time-sensitive matters
  • Ability to maintain utmost levels of confidentiality when dealing with sensitive employee data and information
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal labor regulations
  • Ensure written communications via email, text, etc., are professional and accurate when describing issues and deadlines
  • Assist with ensuring compliance with Immigration laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Keen interest in learning and growing in the field of HR and a desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach
  • Foundational knowledge of state and federal employment/labor laws
  • Proficient working knowledge of MS Office, Google Suite, Apple, Internet and office tools
  • Experience with Workable and Sapling HRIS systems (preferred)
  • Experience administering JIRA work management tool (preferred)
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and people skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
  • BS/BA in Business Administration, Human Resources or relevant field experience
  • This role will be required to be present onsite on a hybrid schedule. Striim, Inc. currently requires that all employees who are required to travel for work, as well as employees and visitors to its office, are fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus. Accordingly, this role requires full COVID-19 vaccination (subject to any exemptions or accommodations due to medical or religious reasons).
