Temporary - 4 Month Assignment

Are you looking to be part of a team where you can go all in and grow in your career? We are looking for an HR Coordinator to join our high-energy HR team. The HR Coordinator will be exposed to all areas within our HR department and provide administrative and project related support to the team. This position will report to the Director, HR Operations and will also work closely with the HR Business Partners. This is a great opportunity to become part of a dynamic team committed to partnering with our teammates in all aspects of their day-to-day HR needs. This is a fully remote position. Our corporate office is located in White Plains, NY.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Enter and maintain employee information in the HRIS System (ADP Workforce Now (WFN)) and electronic employee files.
  • Create basic reports in ADP.
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to timecard and login issues, etc.
  • Support the benefits team with Annual Enrollment.
  • Assist with EEO-1 and Bureau of Labor Statistics government reporting.
  • Complete employment verification requests and employment letters as requested.
  • Assist with monitoring local regulatory and legal developments to ensure compliance with federal and state labor regulations.
  • Prepare and distribute government documentation: NY Wage Theft Protection Act, NJ State disability form, and any new state notices.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
  • At least 1 year Human Resources experience or HR Internship experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of state and federal labor laws.

SKILLS:

  • Must be detail oriented, customer service oriented, resourceful, responsive and be able to function in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft products including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Previous experience using an HRIS system preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects and see them through to completion.
  • Problem solving/analysis skills.
  • Commitment to the highest standards of ethical and professional judgement. Confidential information must be treated with the highest level of discretion.
  • Exceptional time management skills
