Essential Duties:
This position reports to the Physical Security Manager and is located in Calabasas, CA.
Support the Security Department in the maintenance, repair, testing, and updates of all security systems and equipment.
Support the administration of physical security consistent with policies, procedures, quality standards, and government requirements
Monitor security systems effectiveness and performance
Create and file documentation of security systems
Create and provide reports from systems
Work closely with other security members to determine physical security requirements
Responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing physical security systems across multiple locations
Lead projects, manage installation teams, and ensure that systems are integrated with existing network infrastructure
Involves ensuring compliance with industry standards and working with stakeholders to design tailored solutions
Document installation processes and troubleshoot hardware or software issues on-site.
Required Skills:
3-7 years of experience in designing and implementing physical security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms)
Experience in managing teams for security system installations and leading projects
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Proficiency with enterprise-level security platforms (e.g., Genetec Security Center, RS2, or Software House C-Cure 9000)
Working Knowledge of PAC Systems (Software House, Honeywell, RS2, Etc.)
Working Knowledge of CCTV Systems (Avigilon, Genetec, Axis, Etc.)
Working Knowledge with IDS (DMP, DSC, Honeywell, Etc.)
Working Knowledge of Low Voltage
Basic Understanding of UL2050
Basic Understanding of SQL Databases
Experience with Design and Engineering with PAC/CCTV Systems
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
Networking fundamentals
Familiarity with industry standards such as PCI-DSS, NIST, or UL 294.
Knowledge of network fundamentals, including basic IP addressing and device configuration
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams
Strong troubleshooting skills for addressing basic system issues
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent job experience in related field related field
Relevant certifications such as ASIS PSP, CCNP Security, or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Heavy lifting and use of ladders required.
Special Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance required. Active Secret clearance is preferred.
Compensation:
The base salary range for this full-time position $76,530 - $93,320 + bonus + benefits.
