Key Responsibilities
As a member of the TotalEnergies E&P USA HSE team, the HSE advisor will have the following key responsibilities:
Coordinate and contribute to drafting of HSE reference documents (policies, procedures, standards, plans, etc). Post and maintain relevant HSE documents and information on the Intranet
Support HR to ensure HSE related orientations (office safety, ergonomic, etc) are given to all new employees, inpatriates, contractors, and interns
Liaise with HR and Communications on HSE related training matters, townhalls, and other HSE sponsored events as needed.
Assist with tracking and reporting monthly and quarterly HSE data and statistics from OBO activities whilst performing the quality control function
Support the Contracts and Procurement department to perform HSE evaluations during contractor qualification and tendering process
Maintain a working knowledge of HSE operational subjects to provide subject matter expert knowledge to management and
partners as required
Contribute to One MAESTRO self-assessments of TEEP USA HSE MS Participate and/or facilitate in various committees as assigned
Support the identification of HSE training for personnel within an OBO affiliate
Participate as a member in the Crisis Management Program (Crisis Management, Hurricane Response, and Business Continuity including relocating to a remote crisis center if necessary
Arrange and coordinate crisis management training and exercises and coordinate after-action reviews to provide feedback to affiliate on lessons learned and promote continuous improvement
Provide input into the HSE budget and the effects of changes on expenditures for HSE management review, action, and control Attend and participate in Partner meetings as required
Assist in the development of a safety culture within the Affiliate office
Support other branches within TE USA to continually improve HSE alignment for processes, systems, programs and initiatives Provide administrative support to the HSE Division
Promote the use of the anomaly reporting system within the affiliate and the launch of new campaigns and initiatives from affiliate and HQ
