JOB SUMMARY
The HSE & Compliance Administrator provides administrative support for Petrofac. Primary responsibilities include overseeing confidential and time sensitive safety information/items and the maintenance of the corporate drug and alcohol program.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
- Provides administrative support to the Safety team.
- Acts as Lead Administrator of the Drug & Alcohol program.
- Assists with managing Operator Qualification and Training Qualification programs.
- Assist with managing audit process.
- Provides administrative support to the Safety Department with management of databases as they relate to Petrofac, including, but not limited to; ISNetworld, Veriforce, NCMS, Synergi etc.
- Produces, distributes, and collects all Safety information and updates information in internal systems.
- Assists with ordering safety supplies/equipment, maintains inventory, makes recommendations as appropriate.
- Reviews and approves Safety Requests for employee hires/re-hires. Processes appropriate paperwork as it applies to rehires and project specific needs. Collaborates with HR and operations groups to ensure timely onboarding of new hires and rehires.
- Work with CFO and Safety Manager on Petrofac Certificates of Insurance.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB
- Maintains a safe atmosphere in the Houston office.
- Provides administrative assistance to various operations groups within the organization.
- Assists with client specific safety requirements.
- Assists with Workers’ Compensation and Injury reports.
- Possible travel may be required.
- Performs all other duties assigned.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Must possess computer proficiency in Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint & SharePoint.
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Possesses ability to take initiative and be a self- starter.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, including strong attention to detail.
- Possesses ability to maintain confidential information.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Requires a minimum of two (2) years of administrative or safety experience.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- Two (2) years post-secondary education in safety or administration preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS ESSENTIAL TO PERFORM THE FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
- May be required to life up to 30 lbs. If the object is over 30 lbs. you are required to have written permission from your supervisor prior to lifting or moving the object.
- Frequent use of auditory, verbal, and visual capabilities in order to adequately communicate via phone, computer and in person.
- Frequent sitting for extended periods of time to carry out administrative functions.
- Frequent concentration for extended periods of time, paying attention to detail to analyze information.
- Frequent use of hands to operate the computer or office equipment.
- Occasional squatting or stair climbing to confirm fire extinguishers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
