Database SRE
HRT Trading Systems Infrastructure team is looking for an experienced database engineer to design, build, and maintain PostgreSQL and MySQL infrastructure for a globally distributed trading platform.
Skills
- 5+ years of database management and infrastructure engineering experience
- Expertise in designing and implementing production database infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Linux (Debian)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools and Python scripting
- Familiarity with dynamic clustering solutions and networking
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain PostgreSQL and MySQL infrastructure
- Configure and scale databases for real-time workflows
- Improve performance of queries and supporting infrastructure
- Apply infrastructure-as-code tools and services
- Test proof of concept datastores
