Risk Manager - Equities
Hudson River Trading is seeking an Equities Risk Manager to manage and communicate market and liquidity risks for equity strategies, working closely with trading teams in a collaborative environment.
Skills
- Solid understanding of equity risk models.
- Professional programming experience (Python preferred).
- Excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design new risk controls for equity arbitrage strategies.
- Real-time monitoring of intraday risk limits.
- Investigate risk limit breaches and coordinate resolutions.
- Analyze historical measures to calibrate thresholds.
- Identify gaps in risk monitoring and develop new tools.
- Evaluate bespoke trading opportunities.
Education
- B.S. in mathematics, physics, economics, computer science, electrical engineering or statistics.
