Primary Purpose
Performs administrative duties in resolving human resources related tasks. Coordinates interviews and provides support to HR and Talent Acquisition team. Under general supervision, provides guidance to candidates and hiring managers on recruiting practices.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Schedule interviews, escort candidates through the interview process, advance candidates through the Recruiting Management (RM) system as needed; create interview guides for individual and panel interviews, serve as primary point of contact to hiring managers and candidates during interview process.
- Work closely with HR team on new hire contingencies and onboarding of new hires.
- Provide general administrative support for the Human Resources and Talent Acquisition functional area.
- Support the Talent Acquisition team with the creation of job postings ensuring the most updated and accurate description is being utilized. As well as maximizing utilization of our external career sites.
- Assist with new employee orientation facilitation and coordination.
- As requested, provides project support and actively participates in HR projects on semi-annual, annual bi-annual and ad hoc basis.
- Performs other duties as assigned (no more than 5% of duties).
Education
- Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, related field or equivalent training and/or experience, required.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field, preferred.
Experience
- 1+ human resources, related technical and/or administrative experience, required.
- Must reside in Southern California or be willing to relocate upon hire.
- We offer a hybrid work environment. Although the schedule may vary, typically this will allow you to work from the office three days per week and work remotely on the remaining workdays.
Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of principles of Human Resources Administration.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with department heads, other employees and the general public.
- Ability to deal comfortably with a sense of urgency and prioritizes multiple tasks.
- Advanced skill using Microsoft Office Suite or other applications required in the department.
- Department specific: Excel, Access , HTML, Vantage, Outlook, Internet Explorer, Visio, Power BI, and RM.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Licenses and Certifications
- Human Resources Certificate, preferred.
