The HR Business Partner I oversees the integrated HR function and works closely with TNC management and HR liaisons embedded within each Business Unit to support and execute People strategies in support of organizational objectives and an open, inclusive, transparent, and equitable organizational culture. They will partner with other members of the People Team and collaboratively share responsibility for designing, developing, and implementing best People practices aligned with TNC Values, strategies, and goals. They are accountable for delivering relevant support and counsel for employee engagement, talent management strategies, workforce planning and trend analysis, talent acquisition and development in assigned Business Units. They implement these People Team initiatives to ensure consistency in support of a global, decentralized and geographically dispersed enterprise.

The North America Region HR Team works together in a collaborative way, sharing best practices and striving for a thoughtful and consistent approach in how we support our client groups.

We’re looking for someone with strong experience in leading a diverse, multi-disciplinary team and understands the needs of staff at the administrative, management and strategic levels. In implementing a new HR operating model for the Midwest division, bringing experience in change management will be beneficial. The ideal candidate should have exceptional communication and collaboration skills. The Midwest division consists of the Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana and Ohio state chapters.

Prefer applicants to reside in either Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, or Ohio.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING


  • Bachelor’s degree and 6 years HR related experience or equivalent combination.

  • Experience managing the administration, progress and maintenance of human resource functions for one or more of the following: employee relations, compensation and performance management, benefits, payroll, staff development/training, organizational development, and recruiting.

  • Experience working with senior managers to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives.

  • Experience using MS Office software with experience in constructing and producing reports, data manipulation, and analysis.
