Human Resources Generalist

As we build the HR/People team in support of our people strategy to enable the growth and scale of iSpot, you will be an essential team member responsible for tactical support in the HR functions as iSpot scales the organization, such as on and off boarding. You will work closely within the HR leadership to execute on a variety of people programs and initiatives related to areas of focus such as performance management and employee engagement. Additionally, you will partner with department leaders and must be able to develop and maintain strong working relationships across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of the human resources best practices to ensure a positive experience for employees. We are looking for someone who sees beyond process and systems and is passionate about cultivating the overall employee experience. Responsibilities

People Operations

• Responsible for maintaining employee related information:
• Onboarding Processing and New Hire Documents
• Employee File Maintenance
• Maintaining HRIS and tools
• Providing written and verbal employment verifications
• Offboarding Processing
• Assist with Payroll related changes and maintenance
• Answering general employee questions and requests, escalates issues when appropriate
• Advises on various compliance and policy related matters

Special Projects:

• Support HR leadership on developing strategic programs related to employee engagement, performance management, wellness and programs
• Support HR with internal communications
• Identify opportunities for improving efficiencies through processes and system workflow
• Immigration processes; green cards, H1 visas
• Administer grievance and disciplinary procedures
• Assist in administration of performance management process
• Support employee on and offboarding experiences

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience
• 3+ years’ experience in relevant human resources/administrative position
• Demonstrated trustworthiness with confidential information and a passion for data accuracy is required
• Self-starter that enjoys working in a collaborative, fast paced, team-based environment
• Proficient experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Experience with HRIS and/or ATS
• Knowledge of human resources processes and best practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated success in being organized while managing multiple projects with various deadlines
• Strong analytical skills and logical thought processes, with the ability to identify and resolve sophisticated and sensitive HR issues/problems
