Position Summary:

Kriya is seeking a high-level Human Resources Generalist to partner with the VP of People Ops who will be responsible for managing a variety Human Resources functions for an early-stage biotech company. Working together with the Human Resources Team, this individual will partner or lead employee relations, lead employee engagement/cultural initiatives, performance management, management coaching, and facilitate company growth. This position is best suited for a highly self-motivated, agile, and enthusiastic individual.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain trusting relationships with employees to help resolve conflicts, make recommendations, or consult with management on general employee perspectives

• Develop a comprehensive learning and development plan; be able to develop and lead training initiatives
• Be a resource to department heads and team leaders in evaluating top talent that aligns with business needs.
• Lead performance management and goal setting processes and policies
• Establish and lead creative new initiatives to help drive employee engagement and culture for both onsite and remote employees.
• Partner with business leadership on organization design and management coaching
• Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with regulatory and legal requirements in applicable states
• Support Head of People

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of 10+ years of relevant Human Resources experience preferably in biotech or pharmaceutical industry
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to handle sensitive and highly confidential issues with diplomacy and discretion
• Demonstrated ability to coach, to collaborate, to resolve conflict and to influence
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices; SHRM certification preferred
• Team player
• Proficiency with MS Office; experience with HRIS systems; confidence to experiment with systems
