Production Coordinator

As Hypebeast continues to grow, we are looking for someone ready to come onto the team to contribute to a variety of exciting projects and help build on our legacy. 


We are looking for a passionate team player who will play a key role in bringing to life projects on a local and global scale.The primary role of the Production Coordinator will be to support the Producers on project development and execution. This role will require self sufficiency, strong communication skills, budget and timeline management. Working closely with the Producers, you will be fulfilling tasks to assure the ease and efficiency of all projects. 


Responsibilities:
  • Support producers with set, crew, location, casting, and other production logistics or tasks such as call sheets, equipment orders and travel.
  • Department administration including processing invoices, vendor contracting, expenses and budget tracking.
  • Research and secure permits, necessary guidelines and protocols.
  • Liaise remotely with external vendors during productions.
  • Track deliverables through post-production.
  • Liaise with team to identify and solve problems in all phases of production.
  • Assist with coordination and communication with other internal departments.
  • Assist creative producers with project deliverables as needed.
  • Handle all aspects of sample management for shoots, including tracking, organizing, and ensuring timely returns.
  • Support the production department with operational needs.


The ideal candidate is:
  • 1+ years experience in production in related industries. Experience in handling similar projects is preferred.
  • Flexible/Eager to learn – Having a positive attitude and amenable to sometimes mundane tasks in order to gain real-world hands-on experience. 
  • Ready to build connections - You have started to build a strong and dependable network of vendors and talent and are ready to continue forging those relationships
  • Resourceful – Has the hustle in order to get tasks done, despite prohibiting factors in a timely manner
  • Autonomous – The ability to take direction, but needs a little management and oversight to get the job done
  • Indispensable – Someone who quickly and proactively makes their value known without ego, but rather based on merit and attitude
  • Informed - Up to date on fashion, music and the arts, as well as knowledgeable about what’s happening in culture.
  • Very Well Organized - Punctual and methodical, with a stellar memory, and with airtight organizational skills. You are the person the team will count on to be on top of everything. You will be expected to keep track of many projects at once without letting details slide through the cracks. 


$70,000 - $80,000 a year
The expected annual base salary range for this role is between $70,000 to $80,000. The salary range is subject to change and may be amended in the future. Experience, education, relevant skill set, location and other factors are considered when determining the salary offered.
