We are presently searching for a full-time Billing Specialist in multiple studios in the US, it will be a hybrid position some days in studio and some work from home . The Billing Specialist performs a variety of accounting and administrative tasks associated with all aspects of creating, processing and closing client invoices and vendor payments'Specific responsibilities include:• Ensure that all invoices are processed accurately and sent on a timely basis.• Maintain data within financial systems and other repositories.• Communicate with clients, consultants and vend• Work with Project Accountants to process clienors via phone and email regarding invoices and payments• Follow up on status of client invoices to assist Regional Finance Directors and PAs with the validation of collections probability.• Process accounts payable and expense reports as necessary.• Provide additional transaction support regarding project time and expense activity.REQUIRED EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE• Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. Combination of Associates degree and relevant work experience accepted.• 3+ years accounting experienceREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES• Familiarity with professional services and/or the AEC industry.• Understanding of basic project accounting policies and procedures.• Experience with working with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes• Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting deadlines• Basic to intermediate Excel skills.• Prior experience with Vision / Deltek preferred.• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.• Strong verbal and written communication skills.• Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels and disciplines.
