Responsibilities

IDEMIA is looking for passionate Solution Architect to join our Digital Payment Customer Solution Management team to support digital payment solutions related activities.

The candidate will have the following major responsibilities:

 

  • Participating and actively working to communicate and assist selling IDEMIA’s digital payment products
  • Act as IDEMIA solutions manager subject matter expert to support functional scoping exercices 
  • Analyze the industry trends and convert it into business requirements in coordination with the product management 

 

The candidate should be a fast learner with initiative and a can-do attitude. He/she will work with remote team members in different time zones to provide solution design support for existing and new customers.

The position requires strong technical background and experience in functional solution design, customer technical/communications management and collaboration with the transversal teams.

Candidate from the payment industry (financial technologies software vendor, payment processor, and card network) with digital payments knowledge of the following technologies : EMV, NFC, Tokenization, 3D-Secure standards, E-commerce, Soft PoS, Card Management Systems (CMS) would be a key asset.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Develop deep professional relationships with key customers and engage as a technical advisor.
  • Bridge between our customers and our internal teams during the pre-sales process and propose adequate solutions to solution expert and sales.
  • Help develop business cases and roadmaps, transformation and innovation initiatives.
  • Contribute in developing business cases and support budget planning activities.
  • Support the delivery teams to maintain knowledge of progress on active engagements.
  • Execute the strategic GTM. Execute marketing strategies and execute marketing plans in collaboration with business line leaders, Product Management, Product Marketing, Strategy, Sales, and Business Development.
  • Participate to the elaboration of the sales collaterals such as customer presentations, solution briefs and datasheets to enable sales and solution expert teams effectively.
  • Operate as the product evangelist in front of our customers.
  • Assess market requirements, investigate new technologies, and develop recommendations for product direction.
  • Participate to the definition of the pricing plans and strategy for go to market execution in collaboration with the Product Marketing and Product Management team.
  • Contribute and participate to industry standards to support product growth as needed.

Qualifications

EDUCATION

  • Master's degree in computer science correlated field, or equivalent work experience.

 

WORK EXPERIENCE 

  • 5+ years of similar experience: in solution management design with client facing and/or product management experience.
  • Experience in relevant industries: financial technologies (fintech), payment software provider or issuer processing. 
  • Natural curiosity and self-directed ability to seek out information and meet goals/deadlines.
  • In-depth understanding of payment platforms (particularly card issuing and processing for debit, credit, pre-paid), financial processes and regulation (e.g. ISO, authorization, clearing settlement, PCI-DSS, PSD2…)

  

OTHER SKILLS

  • Ability to speak read, comprehend and write instructions, correspondence, and memos fluently in English.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiar with Agile software methodology.
  • Knowledge of Public Cloud (e.g. AWS, Azure).
