In Spain we are seeking a new Key Account Manager to help take advantage of the growing opportunities in the Spanish market.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Obtain extensive industry and Markit knowledge.
  • Identify opportunities on the market.
  • Engage, develop, and manage your named enterprise accounts.
  • Identify, meet and maintain a professional relationship with ideal client prospects.
  • Manage the daily needs of customers to ensure customer satisfaction (customer support, account management, draft proposals, tenders and quotations according to our client needs).
  • Cooperate with main IT distributors and IT brands and negotiate special conditions for your clients' projects.
  • Work on original ways to develop awareness about Markit in Spain and globally (networking events, online content etc).


IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • 3-5 years of successful IT solution sales experience (Account Management and selling to the enterprise level: CTO, CIO, CPO and other Executives).
  • Good command of Spanish (C2) and English (B2).
  • Relevant education (Bachelors degree) that proves structural understanding and approach.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent problem solver with a “get things done” attitude.
  • Desire to learn and improve.
  • Excellent people skills and intuitive to clients' business needs.
  • Good prioritisation and time management skills.
  • Self motivated and capable of working under own initiative.
  • The ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Work well under pressure and commit to deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites is required.
