Community Health Program Manager

Job Description:

Intermountain Healthcare’s mission is helping people live the healthiest lives possible. Intermountain intentionally works to understand and prioritize the needs of our most vulnerable communities and to develop community health initiatives and deploy Intermountain resources to improve community health.

Position Details:

This is a hybrid position. Incumbent will be required to attend some in-person team meetings, join community and hospital meetings in-person, and support community events. Typical hours are Monday-Friday during regular business hours, with flex time available. Incumbent will be required to live in or near Utah County as they will be supporting the four hospitals and communities in this area.

The Community Health Program Manager works under the direction of a Community Health Director, system operational leader or Community Health AVP to:

  • Organize and coordinate community health programs with internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate and implement programs to support the needs of the community and the strategic direction of the organization
  • Oversee performance and execution of the program/initiative and communicates status updates
  • Support community-based collaborations
  • Organize and implement the community Health implementation strategy

Minimum Qualifications

  • Project management and/or program coordination experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management.
  • Experience using computers and Microsoft Programs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a healthcare related field
  • Project management and/or program coordination experience with a history of success
  • Healthcare experience
  • Demonstrated experience in Community Health, Public Health or Population Health
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using computers for a variety of tasks
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Physical Requirements:

  • Interact with others requiring the employee to communicate information.
  • Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move finders and hands.
  • See and read computer monitors and documents.
  • Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone or other equipment.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. 

$37.98 - $58.61
