As a Security Officer at Intermountain Health Intermountain Medical Center, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our patients, visitors, employees, and volunteers. You will be responsible for routine patrols of both the interior and exterior of the facility, including parking areas, while enforcing policies and procedures that reflect our commitment to safety. Responding promptly to dispatch calls, you'll assess situations, gather necessary information, and help resolve conflicts with professionalism. Your friendly demeanor will assist in providing directions and important information to those within the facility, ensuring everyone feels secure and informed. Additionally, you'll have the chance to participate in environmental tours, fire drills, and may assist in various specialized duties ranging from patient transport to lockouts. To qualify, you need a current driver's license, a Basic Life Support certification (or the willingness to obtain one), and be at least 21 years old. If you have prior experience in law enforcement or security, that's a plus!
