Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented HR Operations Lead to oversee and enhance our HR operational processes. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth delivery of HR services, compliance with regulations, and fostering a positive employee experience. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on expertise to drive operational excellence.

 

Work Environment: This position is based on-site at our Palmer, MA location.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • HRIS: Manage HRIS and other HR-related systems, ensuring data accuracy and system efficiency.
  • HR Tools and Processes: Manage the administration, optimization, and training of HR tools and processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • HR Data and Reporting: Maintain accurate HR records and generate insightful reports to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Recruitment: Lead and manage the recruitment process for select site-based positions, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Onboarding: Oversee and continuously improve the employee onboarding experience to ensure a seamless transition into the organization.
  • Recognition Programs: Design, implement, and manage recognition programs that boost employee engagement and morale.
  • Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR-related matters.
  • Special Projects: Lead or contribute to special HR projects, including system upgrades, policy updates, and organizational change initiatives.

 

Critical Competencies for Success:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of HR experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HR functions, including payroll, benefits, and employee relations.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and other HR-related software.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships across teams.
  • Experience in managing HR projects and change initiatives.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret HR data and metrics.
