The Implementation Specialist leads the coordination and execution of implementation projects for complex or global SMB clients, and acts as a consultant to Sales and Customer Success teams advising on best practices for successful client launches and relaunches for mid-sized accounts within the IHS line of business.
  • Acts as a consultant and provides launch support to Sales, CSMs, and Clients
  • Initiates the program implementation steps, and acts as a point of contact for the customer during the implementation process through to the launch of the EAP
  • In addition to new client launches, supports projects to relaunch client programs, or to integrate new products and services into the client’s program
  • Monitors each step in the implementation process; identifies potential issues and mitigates any risk associated with them
  • Works across departments, and with colleagues in other lines of business, to ensure alignment between customer contract, customer expectations, and system setup
  • Follows implementation best practices in supporting client implementation projects
  • Works closely with LW Onboarding team to understand processes and requirements for launching accounts on LifeWorks Wellbeing platform, and to incorporate these processes into the overall implementation project
  • Manages mid-size client implementations across multiple geographies, including Canada, US, UK, Australia and Global
  • Leads virtual client launch meetings as needed, through the implementation project
  • Organizes and facilitates Employee Orientations in conjunction with new client launches
  • Stays current with new & innovative ways of educating and delivering information to our clients; supports and follows standards and best practices across partner departments, including Sales & CSM department
  • Works closely with colleagues on the implementation team; ensures knowledge transfer & sharing of best practices across IM team
  • Provides input into launch processes with the goal of ensuring launches are completed efficiently and successfully
  • Works across departments to improve and refine launch processes
  • Collaborates with IM team to maintain knowledge portal to ensure Sales and CSMs have access to most current launch processes
  • Remains up to date with LifeWorks processes and systems related to domestic and global client setup, product offering, reporting, invoicing, and account management
  • Attends internal training sessions to build knowledge of products & solutions, best practices, industry topics and trends
Minimum level of Education:
Bachelor Degree. List preferred program(s) Human Resources, Business – project management training is an asset
Experience:
Total 5+ years of experience
Minimum of 2-3 years of client service experience in a corporate setting. Preference for project management experience.
