The Head of Sales – Americas working closely alongside the EVP Americas will create, develop, implement and deliver upon the sales operation strategy for the Americas region consisting of USA, Canada and Mexico. This includes leading teams which will oversee all forecasting and planning; sales analytics & data insights; allocation process, sales enablement, communication and reporting.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Develop comprehensive sales strategies aligned with INEOS Automotive objectives, including market penetration, customer acquisition, and customer retention initiatives
  • Collaborate with Head of Marketing and Head of Business Development teams to ensure alignment on sales strategies and product positioning
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges within the competitive segment
  • Define offer strategies to ensure sales targets are achieved
  • Lead and develop a team of Regional Managers (US + Mexico), each accountable for delivering defined targets focused around retailer performance
  • Remarketing Strategy; development and implementation of the Approved Used Vehicle Programme
  • RV Management; define and manage RV strategy as part of the overall TCO, manage RV setter relations, define framework to monitor and manage factors impacting RV position across the region
  • Fleet Operations Management; develop and manage control of internal fleet, company car programs and external partner fleets
  • Engage with potential Fleet customers in the region and ensure that RFI's and RFP's are prepared for the tenders in collaboration with the Fleet Sales Manager America
  • Lead logistics and customs compliance for the Americas region

What we are looking for:

  • The role requires extensive experience in senior roles of automotive sales, with particular focus on retailer performance, regional management, sales planning, forecasting and sales process development
  • Understanding of manufacturing systems, challenges and constraints given close working relationship required with production and supply chain management
  • Experience working within an Automotive OEM/HQ
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to work in a scale up organisation with a positive, flexible, solution-driven attitude
  • Results-oriented with strong decision-making skills and the ability to prioritize multiple objectives while meeting tight deadlines and financial targets
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
