Position Summary:
As a member of the Information security team the Security Administrator will serve as a functional security liaison for National Universities Workday, PeopleSoft, Salesforce and Desire2Learn implementations. This includes implementing/supporting technology, defining security policies, processes, and standards. The Security Administrator collaborates with the IT department to select and deploy technical controls to meet specific security requirements and defines processes and standards to ensure that security configurations are maintained. The role of this level ensures the adherence to National University System Information Security Policies and Standards and to monitor for and react to security incidents.
Essential Functions:

Configure, maintain, and advise on security within Workday application. This includes domain security policies, roles, and role assignments.

Access provisioning Workday accounts in production and lower environments.

Assisting with Workday releases.

Manages the security models for PeopleSoft applications based on University System policies and security best practices.

Researching and expanding Workday security knowledge through community and associated training.

Stay updated on new security features within Workdays future roadmap and implement where possible.

Coordinate with vendors to understand new technology scope and association with new functionality and security.

Participate in report reviews, including understanding and ensuring security and data privacy standards.

Develop and maintain awareness of divisional and data security and comply with policies and procedures.

Perform security audits on system roles and access logs to ensure accuracy.

Demonstrate proof of security controls during internal and external audits.

Serve as a point of contact to SMEs for their security needs and ensure best practices are effectively communicated and implemented.

Provide an exceptional level of customer service and support to all business units and other internal and external contacts and respond in a timely manner to customer service feedback.

Education & Experience:

High School degree required.

Demonstrates knowledge about technology and participates in training and development initiatives to keep abreast of current trends and practices.

Self-starter that possesses a strong desire to seek optimal solutions and share discovery with colleagues.

Workday knowledge and experience (Preferred).

PeopleSoft Experience (Preferred).

English advanced level.

Relevant Bachelor´s degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Candidate receiving offers will be offered a salary/pay rate commensurate with experience that vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and competencies. Absent exceptional circumstances, candidates will be offered a salary within this range for this position. The minimum salary will be offered based on the minimum exemption threshold based on state of residency. Compensation Range:
Hourly: $24.86 - $32.32
