Innophos is on the lookout for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic - Millwright to join our dynamic team at the Geismar Plant. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our operations, tackling various tasks from removing and repairing to installing machinery and equipment. You will communicate closely with our unit operations to ensure a seamless workflow and maintain safety protocols like lockout-tag out procedures. Your hands-on skills will shine as you dismantle failed equipment such as motors and pumps, using various hand and power tools. You'll then transport the damaged machinery back to our shop, assess its condition, and order the necessary replacement parts to get things up and running again. Once you have the machinery prepped, you'll reinstall it with care, ensuring everything is aligned and functioning efficiently. Working in this role, you’ll also be expected to handle emergencies with composure and utilize the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as specified.
