About the opportunity

The Inbound Sales Agent draws energy from working with people and works with a sense of urgency. This enthusiastic, self-starting person with a passion for selling is responsible for converting a massive amount of leads into appointments through personalized follow-up.

This individual will take ownership of leads, and actively systematize the conversion process for maximum effectiveness. They will record their productivity and sales metrics and track the results in regular accountability meetings. This person has the organizational and time management skills necessary to handle the constant flow of leads coming in and the subsequent documentation, assignment, and follow up of those leads.

This individual must be highly trustworthy—in addition to being the first point of contact to the team, they will also have access to sensitive files and information regarding associates, customers, and finances.

The Inbound Sales Agent's activities directly affect the bottom line, and as such they are deeply committed to the team achieving greater and greater levels of success, as well as to growing their own skills and developing into a leader within the team.

Last but not least, being incredibly close to what we term the "impact point" where this individual gets to see a client come in & go through their entire real estate journey, from that beginning thought all the way to keys to their brand new home in hand: that fulfillment is what's driven a lot of our current members.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

In this role, you will

  • Respond to inbound sales inquiries to set appointments for our team of field agents (realtors) to meet with clients who are interested in buying or selling residential real estate. This involves qualifying potential clients, nurturing them to a certain point in their real estate journey and then transferring them to a specialized agent who would be best to assist in their real estate journey. Throughout this process, thorough and effective communication internally is just as important as external communication with the client.
  • Accurately track and convey productivity and sales metrics to management and expect regular accountability meetings with direct manager
  • Participate in regular team meetings, trainings and education requirements
  • Understand and adhere to local, state and federal laws regarding real estate brokerage services

What you'll bring

  • Passion for selling
  • Enthusiastic and self-starting approach
  • Demonstrable record of sales success against quota: commit fully to achieving and exceeding significant daily, weekly and monthly productivity and sales quotas
  • Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Extremely strong phone skills: ability to set and close appointments over the phone
  • Willingness and ability to spend 80 to 90% of workday on the phone
  • Strong organizational and management skills
  • Ability to use or quickly learn Google Apps/Calendar, BoomTown (real estate specific CRM and marketing technology), Multiple Listing Service and other technologies as needed
  • Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends, if required
  • Knowledge and experience in real estate and sales (Real estate industry experience preferable but not required)

  • Compensation range: $24.04 an hour + commission
