BASIC FUNCTION OF THE JOB
The Aruba Pre-Sales Engineer is responsible for assessing and designing Aruba products to meet our client’s technology and business needs. Incumbents consult with our clients to analyze and identify technical requirements. Incumbents are subject matter experts for security partners and client opportunities. Aruba Pre-Sales Engineer provides leadership and technical support to other Engineers/Architects.

Essential Functions of the Job:
What you will do at Insight:
· Must maintain baseline industry certifications and partner specializations within a specific technology as well as utilize partner configuration tools.
· Consults with both sales and external clients in assessing needs and providing Advanced technical support on complex technology requests via conference call, e-mail and occasionally will client face within specified SLA’s while maintaining a high level of customer service.
· Research possible solutions and ultimately creates client deliverables – including BoMs, configurations, estimates, data sheets, side by side manufacturer comparisons, overview of recommendations, etc.
· Strategizewith SE/SA to develop optimal client solutions which can include uncovering other potential data center opportunities, and/or potential EA/Services opportunities
· Solution sells across multiple technology platforms. (can speak to areas outside of discipline at a general level)
· Provides training and mentoring to Level 1& 2 National Pre-Sales Engineers
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education and/or Experience:
A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or demonstrated performance in a technical work environment is required. Minimum eight years of experience architecting, designing and/or implementing advanced security and network solutions. Previous consulting/professional services experience is ideal.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Strong ability to cultivate relationships with partners, suppliers in order to develop and share understanding of technology roadmaps both within Insight and with Insight’s client community required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate both technical and abstract concepts in a clear and concise manner a must. Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively required. Must be able to multi-task effectively. Ability to interface effectively with client executives in a professional and businesslike manner is a must.

Pay: $83,353.25 - $105,382.41 per year
