Senior Structural Engineer

Position Summary:One of Insight Global's major clients is seeking a Structural Engineer with a design emphasis in Industrial / Water Treatment Facilities to join our team in Exton, PA, or Orlando, FL to lead and work on various Structural Engineer and Industrial/ Water Treatment projects. The client is also willing to entertain a fully remote candidate within the EST time zone. Responsibilities include:• Prepare calculations to determine building dead, live, hydraulic, wind, and seismic loads.• Prepare construction specifications• Design concrete walls, foundations, and slabs for buildings, tanks, and miscellaneous structures using ACI 350.• Complete Quality Management Training and comply with the program upholding a commitment to a quality culture in all aspects of work.• Execute projects varying in size, focusing on projects of larger scope and/or higher technical complexity.• Design foundations and steel frames for pipe racks, stairs, equipment platforms, etc.• Determine member stresses and sizes using structural analysis programs and back-check results using manual calculations.
