Where does this role fit in?
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at ITG is key in driving new business by identifying potential clients and securing introductory meetings for our sales leads. With a distinct focus on outbound sales—through calls, emails, and LinkedIn messaging—the SDR also supports inbound lead follow-ups to ensure potential clients are engaged and qualified. The SDR is responsible for booking introductory meetings with prospects for our senior sales team (Dan, Chloe, or Tom), who will then guide them through the sales funnel.
By leveraging tools such as Sales Navigator and Lead Forensics, the SDR identifies high-potential clients across target industries, ensuring they meet ITG’s criteria before booking meetings. Working closely with the Demand Generation Manager and marketing teams, the SDR helps craft effective outreach messaging that resonates with prospects, although the sequences themselves are built by the marketing team.
The SDR plays a critical role in outbound efforts while balancing the follow-up of inbound leads generated by campaigns, ensuring ITG meets its increased target of 20 Sales Accepted Leads (SALs) per month.
