About this role:

We are looking for an Instructional Designer to help deliver a world-class customer education strategy that delights customers and scales efficiently as Aircall grows.

As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for creating useful and easy-to-use training materials, partnering with colleagues in Customer Marketing, Customer Success and Support. The goal is to provide a centralized set of learning and training resources that allows customers with different needs to easily access the materials appropriate for them. This position is highly visible and requires someone with strong communication skills, the ability to prioritize, work efficiently and deliver a high quality work product.

You will be a member of our global Customer Operations team and report to the Customer Education Manager.


Your mission @ Aircall:

    • Personally develop training resources and learning paths that allow customers to successfully and effectively utilize the Aircall platform to achieve their objectives. Goals should include driving retention, advocacy, adoption and satisfaction.
    • Leverage best practices and strategies to ensure the Aircall customer education program is best in class.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to assess customer needs or opportunities to improve the customer experience and implement related educational strategies.
    • Utilize the Aircall selected Learning Management System (LMS) and assist with configuration and management.
    • Challenge the status quo and relentlessly pursue opportunities to improve the customer experience and improve operational efficiency.


A little more about you:

    • Proven working experience in external customer facing-instructional design and with instructional technology. Ideally in a SaaS environment focusing on a one-to-many educational model.
    • Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.
    • Lesson and curriculum planning skills.
    • Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System.
    • Visual design skills and ability to storyboard.
    • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts.
    • You are excited about navigating the complexities of a rapidly growing company operating in and entering new markets around the world.
    • You have a proven track record of exceeding goals and achieving growth and success.
    • You are a creative problem solver and are able to identify obstacles and viable solutions.
    • You are proactive, organized, focused, and can ruthlessly prioritize with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
    • You have exceptional communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.
