Remote Contract WordPress Website Designer, Graphic Designer & Copywriter We work with nonprofit ministries, churches and businesses worldwide. The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing WordPress websites and developing SEO-rich, grammatically correct creative website content. A proven portfolio demonstrating the ability to produce strong WordPress websites from beginning to finish is required to be considered for this position. Strong writing skills, excellent organizational and time management skills, attention to detail and a desire to help exceed our clients' expectations are preferred.Primary Responsibilities• Deep collaboration on Wordpress design projects with team members and clients• Design responsive Wordpress website designs• Perform maintenance and support for Wordpress websites• Implement and assess SEO best practices• Troubleshoot and resolve Wordpress Theme & plugin issues• Stay up-to-date with new web technologies• Create SEO-friendly, grammatically correct, error-free website content• Ensure all-around consistency with clients’ branding (style, fonts, images and tone)• Create email marketing campaign graphics and layout based on client website design concepts• Assist with project management of incoming client creative projectsSkills and Qualifications• Understanding of the unique marketing needs of non-profit ministries• A bachelor's degree in communications or related field• Advanced skill-level with Adobe products, especially Photoshop & Dreamweaver (Mac not PC)• 4+ years experience designing Wordpress websites• Experience with responsive design practices for mobile and desktop• Experience with web analytics reporting tools (Google Analytics, etc)• Advanced knowledge of HTML & CSS• Proven copy writing experience and keyword research knowledge• Advanced computer skills and knowledge of office productivity tools, including Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.) and Microsoft Office·• Home office space and excellent internet connection suitable for remote work environment required• Reliable Mac computer with active Adobe Creative Suite license• Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines• Attention to detail and dedication to completing projects with excellence and according to the timeline provided is a mustJob Type: ContractPay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hourExpected hours: 5 – 10 per weekBenefits:• Flexible schedule• Professional development assistanceSchedule:• Monday to FridayWork Location: Remote
