Job DescriptionThis is a commissioned sales position for an Account Executive in the US Sales org on the rapidly growing next wave Cloud Service Provider team.The Account Executive serves as the one-Intel customer-obsessed representative responsible for solving technology and business challenges using Intel technologies in a way that is favorable to both the customer and Intel objectives. The candidate is responsible for establishing credibility and should be capable of building strong, direct relationships with senior business and technical customers. The ideal candidate is passionate about enabling the next generation of innovative cloud based software, platform and infrastructure service providers at the core of Intel's Datacentric growth strategy.They should comprehend Intel architecture and software enabling offerings in addition to partner solutions targeted at workload optimization on Intel products across on-premise, hybrid and public cloud infrastructure. The role will focus on selling a comprehensive suite of Intel products, software and services offerings in alignment with the Assess, Discover, Design, Scale (ADDS) methodology and Value Based Selling (VBS) concept. Collaboration with the Industry Technical Specialist (ITS) counterpart and establishing relationships with BU, Operations, and OxM partners is critical to success.This person must be self-motivated, self-sufficient with the ability to stay current on emerging industry trends, technologies, and issues. The ideal candidate must possess a strong knowledge of cloud and data center technologies, Intel server products, industry server platforms, ingredients within the platforms (memory, IO, storage, networking), and their relationship to cloud solutions for end-customer usage and benefit. The candidate must have excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to represent Intel in the industry as a 'business and technology evangelist' for our cloud service delivery strategy. This person must be comfortable working at senior levels within Intel and within their customer and have demonstrated the ability to identify and drive customer requirements and market needs into actionable goals.A successful candidate will:• Excellent communication, business development and customer support skills• Strong interpersonal skills (cross-group collaboration)• Willing to build strong, direct relationships with senior business and technical customers.QualificationsMinimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. This Position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in business and /OR STEM. In lieu of degree 7 + years of experience in the related field.• 5 years of data center cloud sales and/or business development experience.Preferred Qualifications:• Working knowledge of cloud data center architecture, applicable standards, and the operational processes• Working knowledge of cloud-native SaaS, PaaS and IaaS business models and key performance indicators• Working knowledge of service innovation and platform technology introduction / evolution processes• Working knowledge of fundamental networking and storage technologies.• Knowledge of Intel architecture offerings and partner solution offerings targeted at cloud service provider data centers and infrastructure.• Experience and knowledge of compute infrastructure in on-premise, hybrid and public cloud workload models.Inside this Business GroupIntel's Sales and Marketing (SMG) organization works with global customers and partners to solve critical business problems with Intel based technology solutions. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
