Manager, Nurse Recruiting

As the Manager, Nurse Recruiting, you will lead and oversee the recruitment efforts for nursing staff within our healthcare organization. Your role involves developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies, managing a team of recruiters, and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure a continuous and high-quality pipeline of nursing talent. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in healthcare recruitment, and a deep understanding of the nursing profession.
Leadership and Team Management - Lead and manage a team of nurse recruiters, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture to meet recruitment goals.
Strategic Recruitment Planning - Develop and implement strategic recruitment plans to meet the staffing needs of various nursing departments.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align recruitment strategies with organizational goals.
Candidate Sourcing and Selection- Oversee the sourcing and selection process for nursing candidates, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and values.
- Conduct interviews for key nursing positions and provide input on final hiring decisions.
Relationship Building- Establish and maintain strong relationships with nursing managers, department heads, and other key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to understand department-specific staffing needs and challenges.
Data Analysis and Reporting- Utilize recruitment metrics and data to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
- Prepare regular reports on recruitment activities, including key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
Compliance and Process Improvement- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards in the recruitment process.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of the nurse recruitment function.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare recruitment, with a focus on nursing positions.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including the management of a recruitment team.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards related to recruitment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to develop and implement successful recruitment strategies.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
