Manager, Account Executives (Commercial)

Intercom is seeking an innovative, agile, and resilient Sales Leader to lead a team of Account Executives focused on new business revenue in North America. This person will be responsible for segment strategy and planning, team building, and accelerating logo and revenue growth.

Skills

  • 5+ years in quota carrying new business IC role with proven success
  • Experience in complex and strategic deals
  • 2+ years management experience
  • Experience in outbound sales motions
  • Strong forecasting and revenue trend analysis skills
  • Passion for teaching and developing top talent
  • GTM strategy development and execution
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to balance short term and long term priorities

Responsibilities

  • Hiring and coaching the new business Account Executives for success
  • Planning new business revenue and logo acquisition strategy
  • Owning relationships with pipe generation teams such as Sales Development and Marketing
  • Partnering with Product and Growth for pipeline development
  • Analyzing data to design new processes to enhance AE productivity
  • Working closely with the team on large opportunities
