Job Description:

Microchip Technology’s USB and Networking Group (UNG) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Intern to join our team and assist with auditing and updating our product and landing pages. In this role, you will have the primary responsibility of reviewing and enhancing our website content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with our brand guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong understanding of marketing principles. This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in digital marketing and website management.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough audits of our webpages to identify areas for improvement, including outdated information, broken links, formatting inconsistencies, and SEO optimization opportunities.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure web content aligns with brand messaging, tone, and style guidelines.
Update and edit webpage content to enhance readability, user experience, and search engine optimization.
Coordinate with various stakeholders, such as product managers, MarCom, applications engineers, to implement necessary changes and enhancements.
Perform keyword research and optimization to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic.
Assist in the creation of new webpages, and landing pages as needed.
Monitor website analytics and provide insights on user behavior and engagement.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, engineering or a related field (or recently graduated).
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information in a clear and concise manner.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic understanding of web design principles and user experience.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
Proficiency in SEO best practices and keyword research tools is desirable.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
Enthusiasm for learning and willingness to adapt to evolving digital marketing strategies.
A portfolio or examples of previous web content projects is advantageous.
