Role Overview
We are looking for:
Solvay in Alpharetta is excited to welcome a new Co-Op student to our workforce. This is a unique opportunity to get a indepth glimpse into the world of Solvay and the way we change the world around us everyday. The CTD Co-Op student supports departmental work of the Customer Technical Development team. As a Co-Op with our customer development technical team, you will interface with various teams in the market to know and understand the technical benefits available to our customers and how can continuously improvement their experience with our products. A Co-Op student will work directly with the CTD team, R&D, analytical teams, sales and marketing personnel, and external vendors and customers as appropriate. This is very much a “hands-on” position.
The CTD team is focused on application development, process development, troubleshooting directly for customers, R&D, and manufacturing. Key activities include plastic processing such as injection molding, extrusion, and compression molding. The team also conducts application specific polymer testing, product development support, failure mode and root cause analysis, and development of data for technical marketing documentation.

Competitive salary
The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range.
