Purpose of the Position:
The Research Associate will be working on an internationally funded project, in which microfluidic devices and/or biomaterials will be developed for the engineering of immune cells. This position will collaborate with scientists and engineers of diverse backgrounds (bioinformatics, synthetic biology, immunology, chemical, and biomedical engineering).
Duties / Responsibilities
Perform work on an internationally funded project, in which microfluidic devices and/or biomaterials will be developed for the engineering of immune cells. This position will collaborate with scientists and engineers of diverse backgrounds (bioinformatics, synthetic biology, immunology, chemical, and biomedical engineering).
Assist in performing research by planning and executing experiments.
Assist in ordering materials and supplies for experiments.
Written and oral communications about the progress of the research projects.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering or Science
3-12 months of full-time verifiable work experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
Research experience in 3D printing, microfluidics, biomaterials, or mammalian cell culture
Published Salary (if available):
$20.00 -$25.00 per hour
