Job Description:

Microchip Technology Inc. has an Intern-Marketing opening based in Austin, Texas. This position is a long-term internship and requires that you are a registered college/university student and also have the ability to work part-time.

The Marketing intern will provide technical marketing support for Microchip’s Analog Power and Interface Division (APID) products. This includes working with Marketing and Applications team on evaluation boards and documentation and managing web contents for products to ensure good representation and accuracy. Supported product lines include linear regulators, switching regulators, Power modules, Controllers, MOSFET drivers, battery chargers, motor drivers, LED drivers, USB port power switches, etc. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, a willingness to learn, and an interest in power electronics design and control systems. Candidates must have a strong understanding of circuits and electronics and be enrolled in a BS or MS program in electrical or computer engineering (or equivalent). This position will be reporting to DC/DC product line manager (PLM) a great opportunity for an intern to learn about all aspect of product development.
