Internship Purpose
News Corp is looking for a Security Engineering Intern. This intern will work with the Securing Engineering team to assist in designing, developing, and deploying solutions that support cyber security's overall mission.
Intern Roles and Responsibilities:
Assist in developing cyber security metrics and/or reporting for the Security Engineering team.
Assist in qualifying or quantifying risk surface area.
Assist in reviewing product fit for new applications in the Security Engineering team
Drive timely execution of key projects or initiatives in your area of focus
Support the team with tasks that will improve the delivery of cyber security solutions

Qualifications:
Targeting a career in Cyber Security
Background in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Network Security, Information Assurance, Information Systems, etc
Rising Juniors currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university or technical/finishing school
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
Operates as a team player and has an intellectual curiosity
Ability to prioritize and to work under pressure while maintaining high attention to detail
Basic/Intermediate Python experience
Pay Range: $15 to $18 per hour
