Women’s Shave Content Intern

The Women’s Shave team is hiring a content intern to support our growing social media presence across key organic channels for the Skintimate brand. The ideal candidate is interested and immersed in the world of social, has strong video editing and social content creation capabilities, and is excited about collaborating with the team on content ideation & development.

We are looking for a creative, out-of-the-box thinker to elevate our social presence and generate entertaining, trending, thumb-stopping content for our priority Skintimate brand channels- TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts. This candidate will bring the Skintimate persona to life through strong, engaging, quick-turn, relatable content development and have a strong understanding of channel best practices. This role will require full immersion into the brand – its products, consumers & competitors.

Key Accountabilities

Content Creation- 80% of this role will focus on content creation for TikTok, Instagram & YT Shorts from ideation to creation. This candidate will need to understand the Skintimate brand and its target audience, have a strong grasp on social media content & best practices and generate unique ideas to bring the brand to life across TikTok, Instagram & YouTube. The team is looking for someone fully immersed in social media who will be confident to come to the table with fresh, relevant ideas. Key responsibilities include:

Social-first video content creation for the Skintimate brand across TikTok, Instagram Reels & YouTube Shorts

Fully understanding Skintimate’s Gen Z audience and creating social content that is trend-driven, relevant and entertaining

Eagerly seeking out new content opportunities, trends and relevant topics for the brand.

Producing 3-5 strong videos per week

Keeping a strong pulse on social trends, cultural conversations, events, pop culture, movie/ TV show releases, etc.

  • Applicants will be asked to submit content samples during the interview process.
Required Skills and Experience

Currently enrolled (junior or senior ideally) or recently graduated from bachelor’s program with a recommended focus on digital marketing or communications

Immersed in the social media landscape with a pulse on trends & platform updates

Well-versed in all key social channels/platforms and their respective best practices

Ability to create engaging social-first, short-form videos

Experience with video-editing apps (TikTok, CapCut, Splice, Magisto, Vixer, iMovie, Adobe Premiere, etc.)

Excellent written communication / copywriting skills

Self-motivated and adaptable, able to work independently and as part of a team

Extremely detail-oriented

Eager and willing to learn
