Job Details:
SUMMARY: This position supports the Tyson Fleet Operations team by ensuring customer service while valuing safety simultaneously; communicating with drivers, customers, load planning, sales, claims, road service, and facilities; potentially, temporally filling in for fleet managers under supervision of the terminal manager; creating ad hoc reports; running errands for the department – making copies, filing etc; Based off initiative this position offers exposure to leadership principles, safety principles, and networking opportunities across various enterprise business units; REQUIREMENTS: Education: Incoming junior or senior at least one year of school remaining . Supply Chain, Business or Animal Science majors preferred. Experience: Previous work experience in any field. Computer Skills: Strong computer skills with a working knowledge of Excel familiarity with Word and PowerPoint. Supervisory: None Special Skills: Ability to multitask; Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal; motivated self-starter; willingness to engage people.
