THE ROLE:
Are you a communications Swiss Army knife?
We are looking for a collaborative, organized, agile individual with creative writing, communications, and project management skills to partner with our People leadership team in delivering innovative communications across our organization. You’re a communications expert identifying what’s working, what’s not – and being a creative problem solver to get things done. This position is remote.
This role requires an exceptional and curious storyteller who will partner with people across our company to build and promote a culture that values the engagement of every individual, their contributions, and inspires performance. What You’ll Do:
- Create and deliver an HR comms plan in collaboration with the HR leadership team. This includes: designing our Employee Value Proposition to assist our recruitment of stellar talent, building communication campaigns to guide our team on various topics such as: compensation, benefits, performance reviews, promotions, learning and development
- Manage Talent communications campaigns, create high-impact internal and external deliverables, and recommend strategic channels for amplifying messages
- Integrate HR comms seamlessly into wider internal communications channels and content - ensuring we’re communicating the right information, at the right moment, to the right audience
- Partner with our People Team to improve employee engagement relating to best-place-to-work achievements and awards
- Create innovative content to engage employees around a variety of HR and CEO focused messaging
- Research new insights and innovations in people communications to ensure Vivian Health remains a leader in employee culture and engagement
- Support the CEO and Executive Leadership team on key projects as needed including monthly and quarterly Board presentation preparation
- Partner with Learning & Development to deliver effective and innovative L&D communications campaigns and messaging that engage our team mates and help them develop, grow, and succeed at every stage in their career
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to produce clear, consistent, and creative communications that drive strategic Talent objectives
- Complete external awards applications, showcasing why Vivian Health is a leader in creating an exceptional talent experience that focuses on the day-to-day lived experience of our people
THE SKILL SET:
- 10+ years relevant experience as a communications professional
- A bachelor's degree (preferably in related field)
- Proven success in developing and executing internal and external communication strategies for a start-up with expertise in guiding the organization through the growth cycle (portfolio examples strongly recommended when applying)
- Strong writing and editing skills, knowing how to say more with fewer words
- Experience in successfully managing and delivering sensitive and executive communications requests and the ability to maintain professionalism, privacy, and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
- Ability to work independently, thrive in a virtual environment, and build trusted relationships across a diverse group of stakeholders, including the most senior leaders
- Experience collaborating across multiple business units and teams and ability to gain credibility and respect across the business
- Comfortable with ambiguity; navigates confidently; adapts and thrives in changing environments
- Strong measurement bias and the ability to translate leadership development and talent activities into measurable outcomes
- Ability to travel for team collaboration
THE NICE TO HAVES:
- Previous experience managing corporate award applications and/or learning & development communications
THE SALARY, BENEFITS & PERKS:
The range for this position is $115,000 - $150,000 yearly salary, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule.
