The International Account Manager is responsible for handling international accounts within our company. The account manager must build and maintain a strong relationship with our existing customers along with establishing new partners globally. They will be the lead point of contact for all customer matters within their market(s) to achieve company and departmental objectives. Developing a solid and trusting relationship between major international customers and company. The Account Manager will manage an existing portfolio of 15+ global distributors and partners.

What you'll be doing:

  • High level reporting back to Director of INTL Sales.
  • Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with the Director of INTL Sales and VP of INTL Sales.
  • Resolving key client issues and complaints with the Director of INTL Sales & Director of INTL Sales Operations.
  • In depth understanding and analysis of responsible market(s).
  • Developing a complete understanding of key account needs globally.
  • Anticipating key account changes and improvements.
  • Managing communications between customers and internal teams.
  • Strategic planning and forecasting together with the Director of INTL Sales.
  • Working with the sales team, brand, marketing managers, legal and sales support team members to ensure we meet all customer needs.
  • Managing licensor relationships within the responsible market(s).
  • Identifying incremental brand placement opportunities globally.
  • Expanding relationships and bringing in new customers.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, sales, or relevant field.
  • Four to five years’ previous work experience in sales, management, account management, or relevant experience
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Goal-oriented, organized team player
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
  • Eager to expand the company with new sales, customers, and territories
  • Able to analyze POS data and ladder planning.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person
  • Basic computer skills, and experience with G-suite with emphasis on superior Excel skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage more than one customer account
  • Proven results of delivering customer solutions and meeting sales goals
  • INTL Travel Required (valid passport needed)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the toy industry
  • Experience in a global company
  • Multilingual a plus
