CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an International Sprinkler Designer to join our Fire Protection Services Team from Cullman, AL.
YOUR IMPACT:
American Fire, A CHA Company, offers highly specialized fire protection engineering services and cutting-edge solutions to the most challenging fire protection projects. Our knowledgeable staff manages complex industrial, commercial and design/build fire protection projects, including sprinkler systems, fire pumps, ground storage tanks, underground piping, and special hazards.
At CHA, the International Sprinkler Designer assists with the research, preparation, and creation of various types of contract or construction drawings and documents. This professional collaborates with design teams on multiple projects in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet client, contractual and company requirements.
Our International Sprinkler Designer attains knowledge of the engineering discipline standards, codes, and systems through assisting with contract document preparation. The individual in this role examines drawings for errors as well as uses drawing production software (REVIT, AutoCAD, MicroStation etc.) to create construction documents.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Engineering Science, or related technical field is required

No prior experience required; however, prior internship(s) and/or applicable coursework preferred

Familiar with discipline-based software (REVIT, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)

Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences

Strong work ethic and desire to work in a collaborative team environment with the willingness to assist senior staff
