Internship - SOLIDWORKS Product Management

As a SOLIDWORKS Product Management Intern, your mission will be to support students competing in the global FIRST Robotics Competition, an important event for the SOLIDWORKS brand.

Specifically, you will be creating 3D models, content, and videos to enable student team to hit the ground running with our sponsorship tools. You will have the opportunity to learn and use the same tools student teams access through our direct sponsorship. You will be creating on-boarding content promoting the features and benefits of the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform and SOLIDWORKS, specifically in the collaborative setting of a student team

This is a paid six-month internship based in the Dassault Systèmes Americas Headquarters’ office located in Waltham, MA. You may work with your manager to create a hybrid schedule that works around your academic responsibilities.

What Will Your Role Be?

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Creating detailed 3D models inside CAD applications.

• Developing 3DEXPERIENCE student on-boarding videos.

• Producing 3D models, animations, images, and promotional content.

• Writing blog posts to promote products and functionality.

Key Success Factors

• Recent graduate or currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or like discipline.
• Possesses advanced knowledge of SOLIDWORKS – passionate evangelist.
• Possesses social media savvy.
• Video editing and screen capture experience.
• Demonstrates proficiency within the Microsoft Office suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Possesses Functional use of at least one additional CAD software e.g. Onshape, Fusion 360, etc.
• Experience participating in student team/group projects or competitions is preferred.
• Demonstrates first-hand experience on a FIRST Robotics team will shoot you to the top of our list!
