Role Overview:

As a DevOps Engineer at Interview Kickstart, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable systems that support our platform and services.

  • Infrastructure Management: Oversee and optimize our cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to ensure high availability, security, and scalability.
  • CI/CD Pipeline: Develop, maintain, and enhance Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, enabling faster and more reliable software delivery.
  • Automation: Implement and manage automation tools for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment, using technologies like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, and Chef.
  • Monitoring & Logging: Establish and manage comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with software development and IT teams to design and deploy robust solutions, troubleshoot issues, and improve overall system reliability.
  • Security: Implement and enforce security best practices across the development and deployment processes.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide mentorship and support to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
  • On-call Issues: Participate in on-call issues, leading the troubleshooting and resolution of production issues to maintain the high availability and performance of our applications.
  • Recruitment: Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new engineers, helping to uphold the team’s technical standards.

What Would Excite Us?

  • 4+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role.
  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
