Field Data Collector -Portland, OR.

Join our team as a Field Data Collector in Portland, OR! In this role, you will conduct parking data collection surveys at various locations within the city, taking photos and entering notes using the mobile app. Your observations will be used to test and improve parking data. 

  • Walk or bike through assigned areas to count open on-street parking spots during certain time buckets.
  • Notate data errors in the app when observed.
  • Submit data, including photos and notes, using the mobile application.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data collection.

The work schedule takes place during specific hours:

  1. Mon-Thu: 6am-12pm 
  2. Mon-Thu: 12pm-6pm 
  3. Mon-Thu: 6pm-12am 
  4. Fri-Sun: 6am-12pm 
  5. Fri-Sun: 12pm-6pm 
  6. Fri-Sun: 6pm-12am

Not all 6 hours are required. It's important to generally be able to work during these periods for 2 or more hours. Even one or two days of these days are OK

  • A recent and capable smartphone model with a data plan.
  • Attention to detail and sharp observation skills.
  • Ability to walk for extended periods.
  • Computer literacy.
