Job Description

The Investment Analyst will be a member of the Investment Services team and will primarily be responsible for responding to investment related inquiries and providing analytical data. The Investment Services team provides investment support to John Hancock Retirement Plan Services sales and relationship management teams, advisors and plan sponsors. This qualified individual will also be involved in new business development efforts, which include contributions to RFPs and presenting the John Hancock RPS investment platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

• Support sales through analysis of fund layout, investment strategy, and fund mapping.

• Respond to field inquiries and provide strategic positioning points regarding JH Signature investment platform and competitor investment strategies.

• Explain complex investment and financial concepts in an easily digestible manner.

• Perform research and analysis on investments, product features and industry.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant investment experience, preferably with Defined Contribution experience

• Progress towards CFA and or MBA

• Bachelor's degree required

• Ability to understand advanced investment theories and articulate them in an understandable manner to non-investment professional clients

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

• Overall good technical skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to understand and articulate investment concepts in an easily digestible manner

• Preference for candidates with experience using Morningstar Direct, FI360, RPAG, etc.

Salary range is expected to be between

$57,450.00 USD - $95,750.00 USD
