What are the ongoing responsibilities of an Investment Risk Analyst?
What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience defining business and system requirements and developing software solutions to improve analytical capabilities.
Prior experience must include five (5) years of progressively responsible experience with the following:
Performing system, regression, and user acceptance testing;
Formulating and defining system scope,
Analyzing existing system logic and operation,
Performing feasibility studies and gap analysis, and solving end user problems;
Conducting impact and risk analysis and defining acceptance criteria;
Performing requirements elucidation with Unified Modelling Language (UML) using Microsoft Visio;
In executing duties, utilizing SQL, PLSQL, Java, JIRA, Excel, VBA, and Oracle for requirement analysis and data analysis.

Along with base compensation, other compensation is offered such as a discretionary bonus, 401k plan, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Franklin Templeton, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation. We expect the salary for this position to range between $148,400.00 - $210,700.00 USD / year.
