Junior Product Manager, New York

Lab49 is seeking an enthusiastic Junior Product Manager to support the development and delivery of innovative product solutions for our clients. In this exciting role, you will assist in managing product initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting the execution of product roadmaps. Responsibilities:
  • Assist in defining and executing product strategies, focusing on delivering scalable, high-impact solutions that align with business goals.
  • Collaborate with engineering, UX, and business teams to prioritize tasks and help deliver product roadmaps.
  • Support the product lifecycle, from discovery to delivery, ensuring products meet technical and business requirements.
  • Assist in translating business needs into actionable product features and maintain clear communication between technical and non-technical teams.
  • Help drive the execution of technical transformations with a focus on enterprise-level scalability.


Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in product management, ideally with exposure to agile methodologies and cross-functional teamwork.
  • Strong understanding of the product lifecycle and experience with technical product strategy.
  • Familiarity with managing product development cycles and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Experience working with engineering, UX, and business teams to deliver products that meet user needs and technical feasibility.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact with diverse teams and leadership.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive product decisions and improve performance.

Lab49 is a specialist strategy, design, and technology consulting company dedicated to the financial services industry. We were founded in 2002 to fill a need in the Financial Technology marketplace for high-end execution and reliable delivery of technology projects. 


Our consultants are experts in strategy, user experience, architecture, engineering, and delivery management. We combine knowledge of the latest trends in technology with deep domain expertise to deliver innovative solutions with accelerated time-to-market. 


We have office hubs in Midtown Manhattan, Washington DC, London, Budapest, New Delhi and Sydney.  


The base salary range for this role is $120,000 - $140,000. Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role and level.


Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.

Salary range disclosure as required by S9427A when hiring in New York.
