Staff Product Manager - Core Platform

About this role:

The Core Platform product manager will focus on building and maintaining the foundational and data platform infrastructure, frameworks, and services that power the entire Ironclad product ecosystem. You will ensure scalability, reliability, and seamless integration of features across the platform, supporting other teams in delivering robust, customer-facing solutions.

In this role, you will shape the future of how contract data can be leveraged to accelerate business and unlock new revenue streams. In this role, you will design and build scalable data models and systems that empower teams to create impactful products and insights. This is a unique opportunity to drive innovation at the platform level and have a significant impact on the trajectory of Ironclad.

Responsibilities

  • Understand customer needs and pain points.

  • Translate customer needs into actionable product requirements and roadmaps.

  • Prioritize features and functionality based on market research, customer feedback, technical feasibility, and business goals.

  • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to design, build, and maintain platform capabilities such as infrastructure, user experiences, integrations, APIs, and data pipelines.

  • Define usage specifications and drive adoption.

  • Manage the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards including managing dependencies.

  • Develop and communicate the product feature roadmap to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Monitor and analyze product and platform performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement (e.g., scalability, reliability, standardizing data models and workflows, APIs to streamline development and enhance interoperability) and make data-driven decisions.

  • Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and translate them into product opportunities.

Create compelling product presentations and partner with go-to-market teams to develop materials to drive adoption.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with at least 1 year experience in a technical domain.

  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products.

  • Strong understanding of the enterprise software landscape and the challenges faced by enterprise customers.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise language for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus across diverse stakeholders.

  • Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is a plus.

Base Salary Range: $168,000 - $210,000

The base salary range represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position based at our San Francisco headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors, including individual proficiency, anticipated performance, and the location of the selected candidate. Our base salary is just one component of Ironclad’s competitive total rewards package, which also includes equity awards (a new hire grant, along with opportunities for additional awards throughout your tenure), competitive health and wellness benefits, and a commitment to career growth and development.
