We are looking for a strong product leader who will own and continually raise the bar on service performance, product quality, and customer support. Join us to shape the future of network security with innovation, resilience, and uncompromising standards!

As the Product Manager for WildFire, you will play a key role in building the next generation of threat detection and prevention services. Your responsibilities will include defining and delivering the overall Wildfire Integration Roadmap. You will work on the best malware detection technology and support its next phase of growth. You will work cross functionally across the Palo Alto Networks product suite like Next Gen Firewall (NGFW), Prisma Access, Prisma Cloud and Cortex Suite (XDR, XSIAM). You will deliver the best threat detection and protection capabilities in these products and define the end to end customer experience related to these integrations. Your impact will be across the entire Palo Alto Network Product Suite with thousands of customers and millions of end employees we protect. This role will need both - strong product management skills and deep technical acumen. While we do not expect you to be a malware researcher, working technical knowledge of malware, threats and product engineering will be required.

Your Impact

  • Strategic Roadmap Ownership - Define and deliver an integrated product roadmap for WildFire Integrations across Palo Alto Networks portfolio which will include NGFW, XDR, Prisma Access, Prisma Cloud and XSIAM - Collaborate closely with NGFW teams, Prisma Access, PAB, and XDR to ensure an aligned vision that drives customer and product success, integrating customer feedback and market demands
  • Customer Success Metrics and Goals - Take full ownership of customer success metrics, defining key performance indicators across the customer journey - Drive metrics and goal-setting that prioritize reporting, analytics, incident investigation, and response, ensuring these capabilities align with evolving customer needs and industry standards
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with SCM and SOC vendors, including Cortex and Splunk, to enhance the WildFire customer experience through cohesive and integrated product offerings - Lead cross-functional efforts with UXR and design teams, utilizing persona studies, customer journeys, and analytics to ensure an exceptional customer experience
  • End-to-End Product Success - Act as a product champion with an extreme ownership mindset, responsible for the overall success of the Integrated WF product suite and its impact on customers - Ensure seamless integration and customer satisfaction across various product integrations, maintaining attention to detail while balancing short- and long-term goals
  • Customer-Centric Product Design - Adopt a big-picture, strategic approach that "meets the customer where they are" - Serve as a voice of the customer in product design and development, advocating for their needs to drive engagement and loyalty while translating insights into actionable plans

Qualifications

Your Experience 

  • Product Management Expertise - Extensive experience in senior product management roles, particularly in cybersecurity, with a proven ability to drive complex roadmaps across multiple product lines such as SCM and SOC tools
  • Network Domain Expertise - Strong technical acumen in network security and Next-Generation Firewall technology, ideally within threat management and response environments
  • Ownership Mindset - Demonstrated ability to take extreme ownership over products and customer success, with a growth-oriented, proactive approach to overcoming challenges
  • Customer Success Metrics - Skilled at defining and managing customer success metrics, with a proven track record of setting goals and achieving measurable improvements in product adoption and satisfaction
  • Cross-Functional Influence - Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage and align diverse teams, including UXR, design, engineering, and external vendors
  • Educational Background - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field - advanced degree or relevant certifications in cybersecurity, data analytics, or product management are preferred or equivalent military experience

Compensation Disclosure 

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $166000 - $268500/YR. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
