IT Application Engineer

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize IT system requirements, ensuring alignment with business strategies and objectives.
• Oversee the implementation, configuration, and integration of Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault, Veeva Network, and Salesforce.com, ensuring seamless functionality and user adoption.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, ensuring efficient delivery of services and solutions, and maintaining strong partnerships.
• Evaluate new system releases, enhancements, and updates, and coordinate the implementation and testing of new functionalities.
• Support contract negotiation and service-level agreements efforts with vendors and monitoring compliance
• Apply Agile principles and practices, such as sprint planning, backlog management, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings, to optimize project execution and promote continuous improvement.

• Proven experience (5-7+ years) working in a senior technical role, preferably within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
• In-depth expertise in Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault, Veeva Network, and Salesforce.com, with a strong understanding of their capabilities and integration possibilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex IT projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape and familiarity with industry-specific regulations, compliance requirements, and data privacy standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Proven track record of driving business process improvements and operational efficiencies through the implementation of IT solutions.
• Relevant certifications in Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault, and Salesforce.com are highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Consideration will be given to extensive working experience in lieu of a degree

• Limited travel required.
• Boston area preferred, reporting to our Seaport office 2-3 days a week.
